 Key Responsibilities.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and quickly expanding team. Therefore, The aspects of job specification may adapt over time in order to reflect the needs of the role. While not exhaustive, the following list of responsibilities gives an overview of the key aspects of the role:

  • Recruiting clients for logbook loans.
  • Maintaining  a profitable loan book and a healthy P.A.R
  • Reporting sales performance to Team Leaders on daily sales.
  • Generating sales lead.
  • Identifying good existing clients and come up with ways to retain them.
  • Any other responsibility that will be assigned to you by your supervisor.
Required Experience.

  • Experience in selling logbook loans or general sales.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective business relationship with corporate and individual clients, or equivalent experience in sales deals.
  • Evidence of network building in a previous role
  • Results driven, dynamic, enterprising and flexible
  • Polished communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy loan book.
  • Experience of working in a Microfinance institution will be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications.

  •  A diploma from any recognized institution.
  • Good business sense.
  • Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness.
  • A smart appearance and professional manner.

Ø  Recruitment, training and management of at least 10 Sales agents.

Ø  Allocating tasks to sales agents to ensure the set target is met.

Ø  Ensuring sales performance is of a high standard

Ø  Reporting sales performance to the General Manager/Head of Sales on daily sales.

Ø  Generating and organizing sales lead for sales agents.

Ø  Responsible for general growth of the loan book and while ensuring a healthy P.A.R.

Ø  Discussing and resolving less complex customer problems

Ø  Carrying out performance reviews on sales team.

Ø  Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings with clients.

Ø  Planning and preparing loan presentations.

Ø  Communicating new product developments to agents and prospective clients

Ø  Assisting in the development of marketing strategy and providing market feedback

Ø  Targeting and recruiting new account holders through the sales team

Ø  Providing excellent customer service to all clients and ensuring customer retention

Ø  Selling the brand Indo Africa by maintaining integrity at all times

Ø  Planning ,attending and actively participating in market activations

Ø  Writing sales and call visit reports on Daily bases.

Required Experience.

  • Must be able to recruit and manage a team of at least 10 Sales Agents
  • Experience in selling logbook loans or general sales and is able to close on 10m sale per month with the team
  • Must be able to build a client file, present and defend before a credit committee
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective business relationship with corporate and individual clients, or equivalent experience in sales deals.
  • Evidence of network building in a previous role
  • Results driven, dynamic, enterprising and flexible
  • Polished communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy loan book.
  • Experience of working in a Microfinance institution in such a capacity

 Minimum Qualifications.

  •  A degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing or Finance Option or equivalent from any recognized institution.
  • Having worked in a similar position for at least 4 years. However, Logbook sales agents who have evidence of having achieved targets will be highly considered
  • Self-motivated and team player.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, self-driven, loyal, honest and able to work without supervision.
  • Portray professional demeanor and high integrity
  • Ability to achieve set targets
